Traffic Problems: A Collection Of Comic Road Accidents

9. A very nice driver, don't you think?

During rush hour traffic, when tempers typically boil and tolerance runs thin, you see a good deed that helps you to believe in others. Not for any showy vehicle modification or dangerous activity, but rather for their great consideration for others on the road, a driver in a modest sedan draws your eye. Watching, this driver seems to possess every virtue a motorist could have. They calmly wait for pedestrians to cross even if the light is in their advantage, gently let other cars merge in front of them with a courteous wave, and even pull over momentarily to assist a motorist who is stranded change a wheel. Their automobile features bumper stickers encouraging road safety and kindness, and you observe they are avoiding any distracted driving by employing hands-free technology. This motorist gently turns down their engine to cut pollution and opens their window to provide water to those in surrounding vehicles when traffic freezes because of an accident ahead. This person seems to have set it as their goal to single-handedly enhance the sometimes taxing driving experience. Seeing this paragon of road virtue makes one wonder, "Now that's a very nice driver." Their behavior reminds us that a small act of kindness may go a lot toward improving the roads for everyone.
