Choosing the right breakfast can increase our energy levels, concentration and productivity, allowing us to face the day!

Despite the horribly high sugar content of children's cereals in colorful boxes, breakfast cereals marketed as "healthy" choices that are also high in sugar are more dangerous.
We love breakfast cereals. They are easy, healthy and nutritious ways to fuel up in the morning, ready to start the day. But only if they are made with whole grains, and do not contain added sugars.
Sugar is usually added to puffed rice, honey-coated nuts, and glazed cereals (from big brands or supermarket-brand equivalents).
You will only be able to sustain energy levels for a very short period of time if you start your day with too much sugar. Our sugar hit will make us feel hungry very quickly and we may reach for another unhealthy choice shortly after it has been digested.
Be sure to check the nutritional values ββββand make sure there is no added sugar. Choose cereals made with whole grains and rich in fiber to fill you up until lunch time. Avoid microwave porridges which can often contain hidden sugar syrups to add flavor. Choose chopped whole grains, uncoated corn flakes, and traditional oatmeal.
